Iceland is the perfect playground for Buggy tours. These specially designed vehicles are the perfect way to conquer Iceland's rugged terrain while providing a fun and safe ride. With acres of wild terrain, open fields, and remarkable landscapes, “The Land of Ice and Fire” is an adventure enthusiast’s dream!

The adventure starts at the Amazing Basecamp, which is in the middle of the Golden Circle - midway between Geysir and the thundering waterfall Gullfoss. We value your experience and locate our adventure off the beaten path for you to enjoy every moment. We experience nature while pushing our buggies to the limit and having fun!

Heading out of the base camp we start by exploring Haukadalur Valley, and further up to highlands of Iceland. There you will enjoy stunning views over Langjökull Glacier and Skjaldbreið Volcano. But this adventure is about more than just witnessing natural wonders. It's about being part of the action. You'll navigate rocky paths, splash through river crossings, and take on challenging terrains, all under the watchful eye of your expert guide. Prepare to get wet and dirty!

Once you return to the Basecamp you can reward yourself with a cold Iceland beverage and delicious pizza at Skjól Bistro.

What do I need to bring?

Please dress according to the weather in Iceland. Wear warm, comfortable clothing, a waterproof outer layer, good waterproof boots, gloves, and a wool/fleece hat.

Camera and positive can-do attitude!

Cancellation policy

Refund if cancelled at least 1 day before the event

Meeting time:

15 minutes before the set riding time

Please note

A single person can only ride alone in a buggy if paying a single ride price.

If the number of passengers is not even, the odd passenger out must pay a single ride price. Example: Two persons travelling together must select “2” in the “Adult - Double ride (17+)” section, three persons must choose “2” in the “Adult - Double ride (17+)” section and “1” in the “Adult - Single ride (17+)”.

A valid driving license is required to drive the buggy.

All children participating in a buggy ride are the responsibility of their parents; the minimum age is six years old.

In Iceland, all itineraries are designed to be flexible, taking weather conditions into account. We reserve the right to change your itinerary or cancel it with your safety in mind. At Amazing Tours, your safety is our priority.

All glacier and adventure trips are undertaken at the responsibility of the participants. Participants must know that all outdoor activities carry an inherent risk and are undertaken entirely at their own risk.
